It seems that the laundry is rarely caught up in our house. Doug is always starting the load or transferring it from washer to dryer or folding it while I'm at work. Occasionally there is a load in the dryer to be folded and I try to stay on top of it. He is very good at making sure it keeps moving so it does not pile up into 2-3 loads to do at one time...I appreciate that so much because if there's one thing I dislike it's folding and putting away laundry. It seems so tedious to me...yet it must be done. The boys have become accustomed to our "laundry drop" announcement and will come and get their pile of clothes and put them away. We've worked hard to get them used to putting their clothes away right away rather than letting them pile up on the foot of the bed or on the floor by the dresser. They're pretty good at keeping up with this almost daily task...as we usually do at least 1 load of laundry a day. Where does it all come from?!?
