We went to some friends' house tonight for a birthday party for Nick. They had a pond and a nice dock to fish from so we packed the boys' fishing poles and fished after we ate dinner. Everyone caught some fish...there were both bass and bluegill in there waiting to eat the worms we were throwing in. They must have been hungry because they were biting like crazy! Here is the bass that Kaleb caught. I guess you could say he was lucky with this one because the next picture shows just how he caught it. The hook barely went into the lip! What a nice evening hanging out with friends and the kids and fishing!
DAY 164 - June 13, 2009
Kaden made a surprise for him and Kaleb tonight. He planned a little camp out for them and even got it all set up. Kaleb was right there in the same room playing the Wii but was completely oblivious to what was going on. Kaden got out a big comforter and spread it out for them. He added a couple extra blankets for some added padding. Then he went upstairs and got their pillows, blanket from their beds, and 4 critters each to sleep with. They started out watching a little TV but it wasn't long before Kaden was fast asleep! Kaleb took a bit longer to fall asleep but the both slept good...and they slept in...until about 9:00am!
