We went to the library today to sign up for the summer reading program. Every year we participate in this program and the boys really enjoy it. They get to choose books to read and, based on their difficulty, they get points for the books they read. They also get points if they read to me or if I read to them. We collect our points every summer and usually cash them in close to the end of the program. There are always fun things to get with points like Children's Museum Haunted House tickets, Indians game tickets, IMAX tickets, etc. Of course there's the usual stuff like the bouncy balls, fun pens, bookmarks, bubbles, and the random "squishy" toys. This year I noticed they've even got books that can be bought with points. Let the reading begin!
