Kaden has been wanting his friend Ashley to come over and play for a couple weeks now. We finally got it done and she came over tonight. She got to our house at about 5:00pm and they were so excited they could hardly stand it. I made breakfast for dinner complete with pancakes, sausage, and scrabbled eggs. As soon as we were done they skidaddled off to play while I got a couple things done in the front yard. As soon as I was done it was time for swimming! They had a blast playing in the pool while I tackled the weeds in the unfinished part of the back yard. Her parents came by to pick her up at about 8:30 which was much too early according to them. It won't be long and they'll be out playing at recess again together since school starts in just 4 short days.
